I got handy with some furniture wood here at the house and decided to build a couple of things, one being a bird feeder for the various birds we have living here in the backyard of Pennsylvania and the other is a Bat House for the common Brown Bat.

This is the first bat house I ever made. I made this for a reason seeing that Pennsylvania is on the rise of dying bats do to a known disease called the white nose virus, which is slowly killing off the small and large brown bats here in Central PA.

The second bat house is attached to a preexisting bird house made by the Pennsylvania Game Commission, though smaller in size it can easily house 4-5 bats.

This is my contribution to the rehabilitation of the brown bats as well as hungry wildlife of Central PA.
